UEFA EURO 2008 Tournament

Euro 2008 Soccer Championship

The final stages of the 2008 UEFA European Football Championship takes place in Austria and Switzerland from June 7 to 29, 2008.

16 teams participate in the final stages of the Euro 2008 tournament.   Austria and Switzerland automatically qualified as the host nations. 14 teams advanced via the Qualifying Round (September 2, 2006 to November 21, 2007).

Final Tournament - Group Phase

The finals start with the group phase competition (June 7 to 18) with the 16 finalists in four groups.
